Buy With Purpose. Save A Species

Join FMIA, Nestlé, and Joekels Tea in supporting the African Pangolin Working Group (APWG). Every purchase of supporting products helps fund the rescue, care, and rewilding of Africa’s most endangered mammal.

The African Pangolin Working Group (APWG) strives toward the conservation and protection of all four African pangolin species through the rehabilitation and rewilding of illegally traded pangolins, by generating knowledge, developing partnerships and creating public awareness and education initiatives.

The APWG was established in 2011 by a group of scientists and conservationists who all had one passion in common: understanding and protecting pangolins in Africa. By fostering strong partnerships and a deep sense of teamwork, the APWG continues to build impactful, lasting programmes that give Africa’s pangolins the best possible chance at survival.

In 2025, the APWG opened the doors of their own purpose-built pangolin veterinary treatment facility: The Pangolarium. The Pangolarium (meaning a “place for pangolins”), aims to enhance the rescue, veterinary high care, rehabilitation and reintroduction processes for pangolins rescued form the illegal wildlife trade. This facility provides a safe space where this vulnerable species can recover and prepare for a return to their natural habitat.

Make Your Orders Count: Contribute to Conservation with Every Sip

From 01 August, 2025 – 15 September, 2025 with every purchase of 2 or more participating products your business directly contributes to the African Pangolin Working Group’s efforts in rescue, rehabilitation, and rewilding.

Keep an eye out for next week’s newsletter where we will share more information about what makes a pangolin such a unique mammal. Be prepared to fall in love..
